Reflection

The purpose of this project was to first diagnose a client's information need and effectively detail the interview, including the questions asked / client answers and illustrate how the skills I learned in class were used in the progression of the interview. I also demonstrated how I used questioning techniques studied in the course.

The second part of the project involved effectively breaking down the information need of the client into a viable search strategy that was then used to search a variety of appropriate tools to locate information to meet the needs of the client.

I enjoyed this project particularly because of the interaction with my selected client, and because I was genuinely interested in the topic. The biggest challenge was identifying authoritative sources of information on a non-scholarly topic.
