KU Digital Collections

The Snyder Book Collecting Contest is an historical event at the KU Libraries, and was begun as a way to encourage book collecting by KU students. The site had not been updated in several years when I joined the contest committee, and I was charged with redesigning the content and layout of the site to make it easier to navigate. I worked closely with Courtney Foat, the KU Libraries graphic designer, who created the banner and navigation images for the site. My favorite features of the site include the persistent navigation on the right side and the curved banner across all sub-pages, both of which help to visually tie the entire site together.
